Kyle(Houston) has dug up before showing where I was ranting and raving about the idea of the ZEM and making it a free thing. I too had that dream. I also built and brought a lot of things to the community for exceptionally low prices, prices no one would do it for and I did it because I liked doing it. As things continued on, it became increasingly more expensive to develop newer and better stuff and the small profits the things I were doing made kept my car on the road so I could develop newer stuff. I didn't just jump in with a $750 product and expect everyone to buy it. I have a pretty colorful history here starting with this post [ http://twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg.aspx?forum=technical&msg_id=404580 ] Each and everything done has cost money in some way or another, beit machinist costs, parts, or putting gas in my car, the expense has been there. Based on the amount of time and effort I have put into all of this because I love doing it, the cost for the things I have sold have been at 'labor of love' wages. The ZEM is a highly competitive product not only in price, but also in functionality. It does more than any other management system. I also work for a corporation dedicated to the Z32 and we all live, breathe, eat, sleep Z32. It is our business, our passion, our livelyhood. It costs money to run a business and even considering this, I have seen yet to see a product so useful and at a fraction of the cost.
